TJ Ford Injury Update
After suffering another spinal cord related injury when he was hammered by Al Horford, TJ Ford’s injury status is murky at the moment. It’s unclear how long he will be out, forcing fantasy owners to play the guessing game.
The good news is that Ford says he’s planning on returning this season. There was some talk of his season and perhaps even his career being over after his last injury. So far, the news has been relatively positive from the Toronto Raptors and Ford since the injury.
The uneasy aspect of the situation is that Ford continues to seek advice from specialists. If one of the specialists tells him to retire, could that be the end for Ford? It’s possible.
That said, chances are Ford will be back at some point. A good guess would be a return after the All-Star break. If you can trade him for 90 cents on the dollar, now might be a good time to trade him. However, if no one wants a part of him, the best bet is to just keep him and hope for the best.
