Bruce Bowen’s Suspension
If you have been following the NBA lately, you are probably fully aware of Bruce Bowen and Chris Paul getting tangled up earlier this week. Though Paul was called for a foul on the play, the replay at first looked like Bowen may have kicked CP3. However from another angle, it appears Paul might have been the culprit as it looks like he gives Bowen a shot to the groin area (46 second mark of the video below).
But when all was said and done, Stu Jackson handed down a one game suspension to Bowen on Friday. After 500 consecutive starts, the 36-year-old defensive specialist would miss a game.
Though people have called Bowen “dirty” from time to time over the years, he’s one of the best defenders (if not the best) in the game.

Without Bowen, the Spurs lost to the Detroit Pistons by a score of 84-80 on Friday night.
