Andrei Kirilenko Injury Update
Andrei Kirlenko suffered a hip injury on Monday when Dirk Nowitzki sent him sprawling to the floor. Nowitzki appeared to pull AK down by the neck. Dirk was charged with a flagrant foul, while Kirilenko was forced to exit the game.
X-rays were negative on Kirilenko’s hip but the Russian was said to be in a lot of pain after the game. He’s listed as day-to-day with a sprained hip.
For fantasy owners, this is obviously bad news. Kirilenko has been having a solid season and hip injuries tend to linger for a while. For example, Caron Butler has missed a lot of time recently with a hip injury.
Expect Kirilenko to be out for at least a couple of games. Keep your eyes open for updates.
